SOUL WINNING MINISTRY Burma – Rev Hao Yang Rev Yang is a young man living in Myanmar (Burma). He is single living with his mother and sisters in a country which is only 8% Christian (nominal) with 89% of the population being of the Buddhist faith. Hao Yang lives a very simple life and the family scratches out a living by selling the sowing work carried out by the sisters. This was a country which once was one of the region’s richest, but has become an impoverished backwater. For decades, much of the government’s energy and 35% of its budget has gone into trying to suppress ethnic insurgent movements led by the Karens, Shans, Kachins, Mons, and others. Preaching the Gospel has its difficulties! However, Hao Yang sticks to his God-given task and does his best in a hard situation. He has a little support from friends here and in Singapore, but more would be appreciated. EXTREME LIFE MINISTRIES INC Principal : Pastor Bob Chapman Ministry : Bob is a retired pastor having been involved in founding churches. He now ministers nationally and internationally and is asked to be a key-note speaker in international conferences, as well as conducting seminars. Today Joan & Jeff work together running Strong Chain & Strong Chain Equippers. Both ordained ministers active in evangelism plus they equip people from all walks of life with personal development using a number of “How To” Experiences. These are soundly based on biblical principles Jeff assists with the management of ICAG in WA and internationally. Click here to see their Equippers website. Additionally Jeff works with individuals assisting them to achieve personal goals he is also a musician, song writer & recently retired worship leader. In 1984 Joan & Jeff started Agape Group of Companies with the purpose of funding missionary work. In 1986 Agape Ministries was formed & funded projects in Zimbabwe, Tonga, Lebanon & China. Work commenced in Thailand as a result of prompting by the Lord & expanded due to the efforts of many people especially pastor Jack King. At the same time, with the addition of manufacturing plus branches & distributors in Australia & NZ, the business grew into a multi-million dollar organisation. Joan & Jeff retired from Agape Ministries & Agape Group of Companies as a result of ill health in 2000. Jeff’s early business successes were in multinational organisations, in construction & materials handling, reaching the position of marketing manager & technical director respectively. In these roles training others has always been a priority. Before Agape Group of Companies, Joan and Jeff worked with homeless young people providing accommodation & drug rehabilitation.
